Hi all… these links may be of use to anyone experience prolonged noise, parties etc. from neighbours either private owners, private rented or local authority housed. There are procedures for dealing with it and if you find yourself in the unenviable position where you need to take action you should start here.

I am adding this as a sticky with some further information.

Attached is a quick guide to the Private Residential Tenancies Act. It is not just for outlining the relationship between landlord and tenant. It can be used by others to ensure that landlord rent only to respectful tenants. If you are having problems with rented accommodation in an neighbouring unit please read this guide and contact the relevant authority (the PRTB) if you need more advice.
