 Q Park
I've notice last night at around 10pm the park and ride was locked up, and even on Sunday at 12pm it was locked up, what are the hours of the carpark opening hours? I would think it should be from first dart to last dart in and out of Clongriffin, who should I contact about this?

 Re: Q Park
Shuts at 9pm every evening now.
I was chatting to the security guard and he said that there’s about 10 cars a day using it but I even think thats an optimistic estimate.
The QPark clamper hasn’t been about for a couple of months. As far as I’m concerned, there isn’t much of a need for that park and ride as is. The trains are way too irregular to entice any Howth Junction users to defect to Clongriffin park and ride.
Currently I can only see the carpark being utilized if there is progress of any kind in the shopping centre. (eg Superquinn!!)
I look at the empty SC every day…it’s such a waste of space!

 Re: Q Park
There you go. I figured as much. Clongriffin will remain as is for some years to come I’d say. Until the recession looks like turning and some development starts back there will be little use for the shopping center or the Park & Ride.
Ah well… sure once we are happy with it ourselves. It’s an ambitious project but for execution in the next boom realistically. At least the infrastructure is there to entice development when investors come back.
Just sit back and wait.

I think link road between Belmayne and Clongriffin should be priority 1. A natural flow through the developments would be hugely beneficial, especially in the case of Belmayners having easier access to our DART station. Patience as you say is the key.

 Re: Q Park
Hi,
Surprised the volumes are so low although like you say, if there was a link road to Belmayne, that would improve things a lot I'd imagine. Still, it's a great resource to have (actually built).
